An excellent message. In reading your book and blog, you speak from the heart and it’s real. You are there to serve His purpose and you will definitely be an inspiration for SGL individuals and hopefully as well as for heterosexuals individuals. I am looking forward to reading Lullabies of Mercy II (hint hint). Job well done!

I want to commend you on your book and hope that you have the best success with it. I had a chance to read it, and I’m still going over some of the Scriptures. I understand and want you to keep your head up high. Always trust in the Lord and let Him guide you. As far as negativity about your book, ‘Let the Lord fight the battle for you.’ I think it’s a great idea. More churches, Christians, Non-Christians would benefit from reading it. It would give people a better outlook towards the SGL person. It would even make people aware of others feelings. We are all God’s children regardless of our sexuality, race, looks, body make-up and etc. I am so proud of you. Now I can actually say I know an Author. May God continue to bless and keep you.

Thank you for Lullabies of Mercy. You may not be an ordained Minister but you have preached your first sermon. You preached one of love by God and one of self-love. If only every member of the clergy had a copy of your book, we would see an end to the sermons of hate and hear more of love for the SGL people. In reading your book, I am reminded of all the great sermons that moved me. I have made notes of them and revisit them from time to time when I am in need of comfort. I will be adding Lullabies of Mercy to that list. Your book touches everyone across the board, not just the SGL individual. It lets all know that they can say with pride “Whosoever Includes Me.” Thank you and keep spreading the love of God.

Every now and then a book comes along that transcends other books of its genre. Cal Robertson has written such a book. Lullabies of Mercy effectively captures the heart of the Same Gender Loving individual searching for, longing for a relationship with the Heavenly Father. Robertson uses a combination of lullabies and sermonettes to bring comfort and reassurance that we too are welcomed at God's table. The book is clearly not written with a political agenda in mind but instead a spiritual agenda. An agenda that simply says "God knows who you are, what you are, and stands with open arms ready to share His divine love with you." I highly recommend this book to those of you seeking spiritual growth and comfort.

Thank God for Calpatrick Robertson who had the courage and fortitude to pen God’s mercies for the African-American Same Gender Loving person. But, lestyou think these lullabies too specific, they speak of the unconditional love of God for God’s people. That means you! No matter where you are, who you are, what you’ve done, what you’ve thought, or anything else, remember, these lullabies are meant just for you.
