About the Author

Calpatrick Robertson grew up in the small town of Vidalia, Louisiana. He accepted Christ at a very early age. He moved to New Orleans, LA in 1983 after graduating from high school and attended the University of New Orleans. In 1984, he moved to Dallas, Texas (where he currently resides) and has attended DeVry Institute and Southern Bible Institute. He considers himself an avid reader. Some of his favorite authors are Max Lucado and Charles Stanley.

 

Q & A

Q: How did you come up with the book title Lullabies Of Mercy?
A: I wanted a title that was creative, interesting, provocative and comforting, while also conveying the message of the book. With the help of a very close friend, I was able to accomplish that by choosing to title the book Lullabies of Mercy.

Q: Who is your target audience, and how can they relate to Lullabies of Mercy?
A: When I first started, my intended audience was the African-American SGL community. After I finished the book, I realized that this book has something for anyone interested in reading it, and embracing its message. The book has several different topics that the audience will be able to relate.

Q: Is this book based on real-life experiences?
A: Yes, but not limited to my own.

Q: Are you a Christian?
A: Yes, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at a very early age. And I still serve Him to this day.

Q: How did you get involved with writing?
A: I started writing poetry and short stories in high school, and continued writing while in college.

Q: What about book promotions or and future book signing?
A: All promotional events and or book signing will be posted on my website.
